Anticipation is growing amid increased activity at the development of a new food zone in Inverness city centre.
Loch & Larder, a new food collective, is being developed at the Eastgate Shopping Centre where customers have spotted noticeable signs that the opening is drawing closer.

Earlier this week, staff training took place at the ground-floor venue.
More than £2 million is being invested in the venture which is set to provide six brands with a street food twist and focusing on quality local produce.
Loch & Larder also aims to become a place to meet, socialise and people watch.
The anchor will be Scottish Kitchen by Gary Maclean, a new food concept from the multi-award-winning chef who won MasterChef: The Professionals in 2016.
Other brands include Ness n Korma, a modern fusion take on Indian street food, Inver Mercato, a Mediterranean Italian deli, Cluck, which will offer customers options including buttermilk chicken and vegan alternatives and Sweetness, which will serve ice creams, shakes and cakes.
They will be joined by Fairground, serving coffee for the socially conscious.
The centre had hoped the new food court would be operational in December but due to technical issues beyond its control, the opening was delayed.
A new food hall also opened in the city's Victorian Market last September following a £1.6 million restoration project.
