There’s over 160 of them – from unique independents to national chains – all offering a huge range of perfect presents that mum can choose herself by simply redeeming the card at her favourite spot.

Inverness BID marketing and admin manager, Margaret Laws, said: “The great thing about Mother’s Day is that it celebrates all the different motherly figures out there, be it a foster mum, fur baby mum, kinship carer, auntie, grandma, workplace mum, single dad, a special friend who looks out for you and all the other special mums out there.

“The day can also be a source of sadness for those who have for example, lost a special someone so thinking of them and giving them a wee treat too can be a thoughtful way of helping them get through the day and to show you care. Buying the perfect gift though can be really difficult and we all worry about getting it right but with an Inverness City Centre Gift Card it means they have the gift of choice and it is wonderful to think your kindness is also shared with locally based businesses and your local community.”
