Jane Thomson from Muir of Ord has shaved her head as a show of solidarity for a friend undergoing cancer treatment.
Ms Thomson, who works with livestock identification firm Shearwell Data, raised more than £3600 for Highland Hospice by having her hair shaved off during the coronavirus lockdown.
She has been unable to visit her friends or customers but wanted to do something constructive during lockdown.
The 51-year-old said: "I decided to 'crop-the-mop' to show solidarity with a close friend who is undergoing cancer treatment and has suffered hair-loss.
"I’ve not been able to visit, have a cup of tea or sit with her to offer support and have a chat.
"I decided to shave off my hair for charity and help benefit the Highland Hospice through a friends and farming customer appeal."
She said: "I’m utterly stunned at the support, especially at the moment when a lot of people have other concerns.
"I am extremely grateful and humbled by everyone that has supported this charity appeal."
