A ROSS-SHIRE family has donated a whopping £75,000 to Highland Hospice, and made another sizeable donation to Maggie’s Highlands, after receiving heartfelt support from the vital charities.

Tarradale Primary School pupils, Isla and Murray Dallas made a visit to the hospice on Wednesday.

The Muir of Ord children made the visit with their dad, and four grandparents. Isla, Murray and the rest of the family made a whopping donation of £75,000.

They made the donation to thank the hospice for the care provided to their mum Heather earlier this year.

Highland Hospice said: “Thank you to young Isla and Murray Dallas - we are so grateful for their support.”

On the same day, the two children made another donation of £21,000 to cancer care charity, Maggie’s Highlands.

Maggie’s Highlands: “We'd like to say a huge thank you to Murray, Isla, and the Dallas Family who visited the centre today to gift us an incredibly generous donation of £21,000.

“This fantastic sum allows Maggie's Highlands to continue to support families affected by a cancer diagnosis across the Highlands.”
