This year’s Moy Country Fair is underway today with organisers hopeful of one of the biggest and best array of attractions for those in attendance.

The popular Highland summer event opened this morning with main ring events beginning at 11 am.

Throughout today and tomorrow, there will be what organisers have described as “a diverse mix of family-friendly exhibitors and performers” as well as the traditional focus on field sports.

The fair this year is also showcasing some of the best of Scottish food and drink, with the return of the food tent and food theatre where professional chef and presenter Christopher Trotter will be offering regular cooking demonstrations.

Traditional main ring activities will include falconry, gun dog handling, the terrier racing and a pet parade.

There will also be a spectacular performance from Savage Skills, the UK’s leading freestyle mountain bike stunt team.
