NC500 accident on Bealach na Bà sees motorcyclist taken to Raigmore

A motorcycle accident on the Applecross Pass saw a man being taken to hospital.

The man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness after coming off his motorbike on the renowned Bealach na Bà road in Wester Ross.

It is understood that the motorcyclist was taken to Raigmore by air ambulance, to be treated for an ankle injury.

A police spokesperson said: "Around 12.50pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 police received a report of a motorcyclist having come off his bike at Applecross Pass.

"He has been taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment to an ankle injury."
