Update: man missing from home in the north traced by police

A north man who was reported missing has been found safe, say police.

Andrew MacDonald, from Strathpeffer, had been reported missing by his family yesterday morning.

A police spokesman said: "We can confirm that Andrew MacDonald (41) who had been reported missing from Strathpeffer has been traced safe.
"Thank you to everyone who shared, or otherwise assisted, with our earlier appeal for information."
