POLICE have appealed for help tracing a missing man who has not been seen for a month-and-a-half.

Robert Clark, who is from Fife but has links to the Highlands, has not been seen since a sighting in Lumphinnans, Fife, at 8.45pm on Sunday, November 15.

At the time Mr Clark was riding a red and black Honda CBR 600 motorcycle, registration SF51 FYT.

Mr Clark, who is also known as 'Sparks', is 5ft 9in, of slim build and has short dark/greying hair. He wears glasses and is known to have a goatee beard, but may not be clear shaven.

He is known to frequent the Highlands and has previous ties to the Ross-shire and Black Isle areas.

"We would ask members of the public not to approach him, but ask anyone who has seen him or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us immediately," said a police spokesman. "We also appeal for Mr Clark himself to get in touch."

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting reference number 1487 of November 17.
