Police Scotland launches missing person appeal after Ross-shire man disappears; Alness man James Wallace has not been seen since Tuesday

POLICE have appealed for information after an Easter Ross man went missing.

There has been no contact with Alness man James Wallace (62) since Tuesday evening. He was reported missing this morning.

"Officers are concerned for his welfare and would urge anyone with information which could help to come forward," said a Police Scotland spokesman.

"James is described as being around 6ft 2in tall and broad built with short shaved light-coloured hair.

"He has use of a white Kia C'eed car – registration SK07 ZTM.

"Anyone who believes they may have seen James or his car is urged to call 101, quoting reference 1075 of July 24."
