Missing Ross-shire man James Wallace found 'safe and well', says Police Scotland

AN Alness man who was reported missing this morning, sparking a police appeal, has been traced "safe and well".

Police this afternoon confirmed they had found James Wallace (62), following their earlier appeal.

"We can confirm James Wallace... has now been traced safe and well," said a spokesman for the force.

"Our thanks go to everyone who assisted with our earlier appeal."
