Missing Humberside man found safe and well, police confirm

Owen Danter had been missing for three weeks when he was found.

A man reported missing from the Hull area who could have headed to either Aviemore or Grantown has been found safe and well.

Police in Humberside had issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of 43-year-old Owen Danter who has not been seen since December 15.

Mr Danter, from Brough, was last seen in the Doncaster area on that day.

They said at the time that he had links to North Yorkshire but it is was also believed that he may have headed to Badenoch and Strathspey.

Police Scotland had issued an appeal for information and an image of Mr Danter and his distinctive dark grey Range Rover that he was believed to have been travelling in.

He was reported missing on December 18.

A Humberside Police spokeswoman confirmed that Mr Danter had now been found.

She said: “Thank you to all those who assisted with our enquiries in locating 43-year-old Owen from Brough who has been found safe and well.”

They did not reveal where he had been found or any other details on his disappearance.
