Missing Dingwall woman has been found 'safe and well', Police Scotland officers confirm

A MISSING woman has been found "safe and well", police have revealed.

Officers had launched an appeal earlier this morning for help tracing Dingwall woman Marie Frain (48). She had not been seen since 10pm on Saturday, and was thought to have taken a taxi to Inverness.

However, officers issued an update shortly after 6.20am this morning to confirm that she is safe.

"We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who assisted," said a police spokesman.
