Man (39) arrested as police attend two incidents at Dornie in west Ross-shire and Teangue on Skye after woman injured at property in Tarskavaig area

Police are attending two incidents at Dornie and on Skye.

Police officers are attending two incidents in Ross-shire and the Isle of Skye after a woman was injured this morning.

They were made aware of a woman injured at a property in the Tarskavaig area on Skye shortly before 9am.

Police Scotland said: "Police are also attending two further incidents in Teangue on Skye and Dornie which are being linked.

"A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incidents. At this stage we believe the situation is contained and there is no risk to the wider community.

"Inquiries are ongoing."
