A MAN is expected to appear in court in relation to an incident in a Ross-shire village yesterday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.55pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, police attempted to stop a Volkswagen Passat at The Square, Strathpeffer, in connection with a road traffic offence.

“The vehicle failed to stop and a short pursuit took place, coming to an end in the same street following a minor collision with a police vehicle."

It's understood a 33-year-old man has been charged with road traffic and drugs offences and will be appearing at Inverness Sheriff Court.
