Three people in Dingwall are celebrating today after winning a lottery windfall thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Top Street neighbours netted the £1000 windfall when IV7 8BH was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.

He said: “Congratulations to all the winners this Saturday, brilliant news! I hope you enjoy spending the cash."

A minimum of just under a third of ticket sales goes directly to charities.

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of WWF who help to build a future in which people and nature thrive. Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £18.4 million pounds for WWF, with the money helping to bring impactful change to the planet.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
