MOTORISTS on the A9 are facing disruption after a lorry shed its load near the Tore roundabout.

Police said the road was reduced to one lane northbound not far to the south of the busy roundabout after the incident at around 3.40pm.

A crane has been arranged to recover the spilled load, and Bear Scotland staff are on the scene.

Traffic Scotland has warning drivers to expect "heavy traffic in both directions" and to "approach with caution and allow for longer than normal journey times".
