Aid convoy sets out from Muir of Ord as Highlands Support Refugees group sends packages of love to Bosnia

People braved the rain last week to help pack a lorry with goods that will be sent to refugees living in Bosnia.
The group behind the event, The Highlands Support Refugees, put out the call for help on Facebook.
The group collects donations of clothing, toiletries, baby bottles, nappies, sleeping bags, tents and shoes to send out.

The lorry from Distribute Aid arrived in Muir of Ord Industrial Estate on Friday despite set backs to transport the goods.
The group has been helping refugees since 2015 and has volunteers stretching from Moray to Shetland.
They have sent more than 200 tonnes of goods to a variety of locations across Europe, and do not plan on stopping.
They are also currently looking for a permanent base to help continue sorting and storing goods.
Hannah Sutherland, chair of the group, said: “There have been a fair few delays and set backs to this event so we can’t say a big enough thank you to those who turned up today and braved the cold and the snow.
“More aid sent with love from the Highlands and we couldn’t be more grateful!”
