Lodge Averon scramble in aid of Mikeysline at Alness Golf Club raises £3165

Lodge Averon held its annual golf charity scramble at Alness Golf Club, raising £3165 for charity.

The event, held at the end of August, raised cash for the mental health charity Mikeysline that is based in the Highlands.

Right Worshipful Master Donald Mathieson, of Lodge Averon, said: "This was a superb effort by the whole team at Lodge Averon with special thanks and recognition to the two junior office bearers who organized this year’s event, Brother Frazer McBeath Jnr and Brother Gary Miller.

"Thanks, also was also given to the staff of the club house and Alness Golf Club committee, to all who attended – to, what was, a fantastic day of golfing.

"Provincial Grand Master of Ross and Cromarty Raymond McKeaddie and Emily Stoke general manager of Mikeysline helped present the prizes to the winners.

"Emily was delighted and thanked all for such a fantastic amount raised. Provincial Grand Master Raymond McKeaddie highlighted the importance of the work being carried out by Mikeysline and pledged his support in the coming future.

"Lodge Averon would also like to thank all the local business and individuals that sponsored and donated to the event."

He also thanked everyone who had donated towards the raffle.
