SWIMMING lessons and children's sports at Inverness Leisure will resume in late January, High Life Highland has announced.

It confirmed that the facilities will be closed when the region moves into Tier 4 coronavirus restrictions on Boxing Day, all going well.

"We can confirm that it is anticipated our swimming lessons and children's sports activities will resume from Monday, January 25.

"During the preceding week we will post further updates on our website.

"We were delighted to welcome so many children back to activities this term, and we are looking forward to gradually returning to a full programme in 2021.
