A NUMBER of child-friendly activities have been lined-up at Invergordon Leisure Centre as the community rallies round after today's devastating fire at Park Primary School.

The leisure centre is putting on several events on Tuesday for children affected by the fire, with plans for similar activities on Wednesday – in a bid to help busy parents through the aftermath of the blaze.

Citing the hope that "something positive" might come out of the fire, Invergordon Leisure Centre announced detailed activities ranging from parent and child fun swims to team games in the games hall.

"High Life Highland are putting on events throughout tomorrow (Tuesday) for the school children affected by today’s fire at Park school #communityspirit," said a spokesman for the leisure centre on Facebook,
