After putting a call out on social media, The Highlands Support Refugees group was overwhelmed with donations to help the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

They are finishing the sorting and packing today at the Black Isle Showground.

Until midday, they are accepting more donations of mens, womens and childrens clothing, shoes, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, mats and toiletries.

They have been sorting the items for the last four days with help from people across the community.

The donations will be shipped out to refugees living in Europe and the Middle East through different aid distributors so everything goes to the right people.
