Kirsty Littlejohn is hosting the charity football match in her home village on February 19 at Culbokie astroturf.

There will be three matches, two qualifying and a grand final where friends and family will battle it out on the pitch.

Spectators can also enjoy face painting, local baking, a raffle and a bottle stall.

Kick off is at 2pm and everyone is invited to turn up and enjoy the friendly competition.

Ms Littlejohn said she was surprised but happy that so many people wanted to play in the match whilst raising money for charity and is looking forward to the event.

She is a competitor in the upcoming Strictly Inverness event hosted in aid of the Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre which raise funds for both groups through fundraising and ticket sales.

Ms Littlejohn, 27, is a nurse, but now also trains three to four times a week in preparation for the event.

Previously, she raffled off a pair of sold out Belladrum tickets to add to her fundraising total ahead of the big night.

She was paired with partner Bradley Duke for the event which will take place at Inverness Ice Centre on May 18-21.

A total of 16 couples will dance it out on the Thursday and Friday, with the top couples taking part in a grand finale on May 21.

The funds produced from the event each year are vital to both groups.

The Inverness Ice Centre need to maintain its facilities and help to put on events.

The Hospice provides incredible care to those with end of life conditions.
