A TEMPORARY road closure will be brought into force in the middle of a Ross-shire village next week.

Highland Council is advising motorists that there will be a temporary closure of part of Kyle Main Street from 8am on Monday, June 22 lasting for three weeks.

The work is expected to be completed at 5pm on Monday, July 13.

The closure is to facilitate further building works by contractors Compass on a development of flats for the local housing association.

Access for pedestrians, local residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.

An alternative route is available via the A87 and Stoney Road.
