A STALWART of a lifeboat station who passed away almost a year ago will be remembered when a special afternoon tea is held in her memory next month.

The crew of the Kyle of Lochalsh RNLI lifeboat have announced the plan for the afternoon tea at their station in memory of Pat Mucklow.

"As most of you know, Pat Mucklow was a stalwart at the lifeboat station," said a spokesman for the crew. "It is approaching a year since she passed away, and we have decided to hold an afternoon tea in her memory (we feel she would very much approve of an afternoon tea in her name).

"Come along to the lifeboat station on Saturday, June 24 between 2pm-4pm for a cuppa, some delicious home baking and a chat."

Entry to the afternoon tea will be by donation. The RNLI shop will also be open.
