A planning application for a new electric vehicle (EV) charging point in Easter Ross is under consideration' by the Highland Council.

Location of the proposed EV charging point is fifty metres south-east of Ken's Garage in Kildary, Easter Ross. Owner of Ken's Garage, Ross Bannerman, has granted his permission for the applicant to convert the two parking spaces on his land.

Applicant for planning permission is David Beveridge of PoGo Charge – a UK EV charging brand.

The proposal is to install an EV charger with associated equipment, and bay marking. This development will see two parking spaces converted for the charging point, however the development will not result in any alterations to the pavement or road in the area of the proposal.
