Samantha Kane posted on her social media page that following the completion of the first phase of development at the castle, employment opportunities had opened up.

She is looking for housekeeping, cleaning, kitchen staff, a butler and a building maintenance person.

Anyone interested in applying for any of these posts is invited to get in touch with Ms Kane via her Facebook page or write to her at Carbisdale Castle.

Ms Kane, who bought the castle, which has a chequered history, last year, hopes to open part of it to the public.

She launched the Lady Carbisdale Trust for the Preservation of the Castle on May 4 in commemoration of the coronation, and is planning a multi-million restoration.
