A 24 year old Munlochy man who defied a court order not to approach or contact his partner was found in her company four months later.

Andrew Graham of Stables Court, appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and admitted the breach of the non-harassment order when he was seen at a property in North Kessock on April 16 this year.

The order had been imposed on December 22, last year.

Sheriff Eilidh Macdonald told Graham to stop smirking in the dock and added: "If the court tells you not to go near someone, you don't or you will go to jail."

She told Graham to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
