ACCLAIMED Easter Ross-based artist Ingebjorg Smith is teaming up with her mother, Inger, and printmaker Louise Worthy for a summer show at Studio Smith in Tain, which has just opened.

The cosy studio at Duthus Place in Tain has built on the reputation of popular Christmas shows by showcasing new paintings and offering space to other local creatives to display and sell their work.

The show runs until September 28 and runs from 11am until 5pm from Monday to Saturday. Sunday openings can be arranged by appointment.

The mother and daughter’s festive shows have become a fixture on the local arts calendar, attracting visitors from far and wide keen to snap up unique gifts and socialise with like-minded people.

Ingebjorg Smith said: “We will have a great range of work by local makers, things that are fun, beautiful and useful and not to be found on the High Street.”
