A Ross-shire man has admitted sending a "portfolio" of himself in various stages of nakedness to two women.

Jonathan Archer (51) sent the electronic communications on February 24 last year to one woman and then again to another female sometime between January 30, 2021 and March 4, 2021.

Inverness Sheriff Court heard a third woman received undisclosed electronic communications from Archer, of Morefield Place, Ullapool, some time between February 14 and February 28 last year.

He also admitted a second charge of sending a fourth woman cards and gifts, approaching her friends and questioning them about her.

Both charges of engaging in a course of conduct likely to cause someone fear or alarm were amended by prosecutors in court to remove allegations that his conduct was sexual in nature.

Sentence was deferred until October 27 and Archer was released on bail.
