Harry Gow fans were in for a sweet treat this morning as they paid a visit to the new Co-op based in Invergordon.
Visitors will find a new Harry Gow bakes and cakes stand-alone counter has been installed in the new High Street store –the first of its kind for the Highland baker.
To celebrate the occasion, the first 100 customers were treated to a free dream ring as a way of thanks for their continued support.
Jane McIntosh, product manager of Harry Gow, said: “It’s a real pleasure to continue growing and being able to serve additional people and communities in the Highlands – we hope to hear positive feedback on the new counter within Invergordon Co-op and wish the new store the best of luck.”
Lorraine Davidson, manager of Co-Op, Invergordon branch, said: “We are delighted to be the first Co-op store to have a stand-alone counter.
"Harry Gow is a renowned baker throughout the Highlands and will be a great addition to our new store in Invergordon. We have had a great working relationship with them for over 8 years. Their quality and attention to detail is second to none and their ethics are very much aligned to our own. We hope this is the first of many counters.”
