Invergordon harbour death man named

A MAN who died in an industrial incident in Invergordon has been named by police.

Donald John MacDonald (55) of Steading Cottages, Wester Rarichie Farm, Fearn died in the incident on Sunday at Invergordon Harbour.

The pipe fitter was trapped under heavy machinery for about an hour before being freed and taken by helicopter to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where he later died.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the Health and Safety Executive will be carrying out an investigation
