A COMMUNITY group creating a garden from a wasteland in Invergordon is on the lookout – for bugs!

A group of residents in the Fraser Road, Macdonald Road, Rosskeen Drive and Mains Avenue area of Invergordon have been working on a patch of common land which had been neglected.

The Seedlings Community Garden is now taking shape as a child-friendly haven, complete with a bug hotel.

In a plea posted today, the group is asking for donations of some type of ornamental bug.

It posted: "Does anyone have anything like this lying around or can you make them from wood ? We really would like some more but funds are running low.

"If you can donate one or make one please let us know they can be any colour or any kind off bug to go into the trees above the bug house. Even butterflies."

The group can be contacted via its Facebook page .
