Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious incident in Dingwall after it is believed a child has come off a quad bike.
The Ambulance service, police and two fire engines are on the scene of the incident at Dochcarty, on the way to the Ben Wyvis Distillery.

One eye witness said: "A person, possibly a child, is receiving treatment from paramedics in the ditch on a steep slope on the road to the Heights of Docharty near the Glen Wyvis distillery after fire crews pulled a quad bike out.

"Two fire engines, two paramedics, police and ambulance are at the scene, a helicopter had just flown over so is possibly waiting somewhere for the patient."

Police confirmed they were assisting the Ambulance Service at the location.

A police spokeswoman said: "We were alerted to the incident at 2.45pm. We were informed that a person had come off a quad bike and fallen into the ditch.

"The incident is ongoing."
