IN PICTURES: Highland brothers reach new heights in bid to overcome Covid-19 coronavirus lockdown

WITH care homes in lockdown, two brothers have found a novel way to connect with their father.

Mark and Quentin Stevens hired a forklift to wave to dad Tony at the window of his first floor bedroom at Urray House in Muir of Ord.

Sarah MacCallum, manager of Urray House said: “We were a bit surprised when Mark and Quentin arrived outside with a forklift.

"We didn’t know they were planning this surprise for their dad. It was a little cheeky of them but we were all delighted.

“It was quite an ingenious idea but we won’t be encouraging other relatives to follow their example!”
