Highland archive centre talk to be beamed around the world; Impact of WWII on Highanders home and abroad in spotlight

The Highland Archive Centre is hosting an online talk on World War Two beamed to people across the globe by Facebook.

The archivists, who are based in and around the Highlands have already run a number of events that anyone interested can view.
The talk, due to take place on Thursday April 30, at 11am, and will be lead by archive engagement officer Lorna Steele

A spokeswoman for the event said: "The fifth in a series of Facebook events to share the collections of the Highland Archive Service.

"This live Facebook event is looking at the subject of World War Two and the impact on Highlanders both overseas and at home."
