If you are behind a vintage tractor between Dingwall and Plockton on Saturday or Sunday – then dig deep – as it is fundraiser for Maggie's Highland

Fundraisers will be putting on quite a show tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday as they take on a Crofters Convoy between Dingwall and Plockton.

The sponsored Vintage Tractor Run will see five tractors set out in aid of Maggie's Highland on May 8 2021 and returning on May 9 2021.

The event has been cancelled twice due to Covid.

Starting off from Dingwall at the Mallard car park at approximately 9am passing through all villages on route, Muir of Ord at 9.30am, Beauly at 9.45am, Drumnadrochit at 11.15am, Invermoriston at 12.20pm, Inverinate at 4.20pm, Dournie at 5pm, Balmacra at 5.30pm, Kyle of Lochalsh at 5.50pm and arriving in Plockton at 6.30pm. Staying overnight in Plockton.

The following day, the tractors will head back to Dingwall via Strathcarron at 10.15am, Achnasheen at 12.15pm, Garve at1.30pm, Contin at 2pm and back to Dingwall at 3pm where we will be out with our buckets for any donations which will be greatly appreciated for such a worthy cause.

Organisers said timings were approximately, depending on traffic.
