A CHARITY with a base in Ross-shire’s county town is looking for a bit of give and take from the public at a special event next month.

Alzheimer Scotland Action of Dementia has shared plans for a Give & Take Day in Dingwall on Saturday, June 1.

It will use its Dingwall Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centre in the town’s Athole Court for the event which coincides with Dementia Awareness Week.

It said of the fundraising event: “We are opening our doors for a unique shopping experience. £10 entry fee and you can pick between five to seven items to take away with you. We will have a range of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and more.”

It invites supporters to support Alzheimer Scotland whilst shopping for a summer wardrobe.

The June 1 event is scheduled to run from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Anyone who wants to donate clothes ahead of the event is asked to contact dementia advisor Hayley on 07554 408479.
