Tain’s Innis Mhor aims for a hoppy Easter

Innis Mhor Care Home in Tain has been egg-ceptionally busy this Easter, entertaining local children during the school holidays with a host of fun-filled activities.

Children from across the town joined in an Easter fun day, where they hunted for chocolate Easter eggs in the gardens and got creative with egg decorating for an Easter Egg Roll.

Meanwhile, local toddlers were treated to a special Easter-themed book reading session, arranged by Tain Library's Bookbug team.

But the egg-citement didn't stop there. The Easter bunny also hopped into Innis Mhor, spreading Easter cheer and delivering chocolate treats to residents and children.

Kate Walker, manager of Innis Mhor Care Home, said: “Our residents had a cracking good time with the children. It's egg-ceptional to witness how these intergenerational activities bring out the child in all of us.

“We're hopping with gratitude for the egg-cellent memories created. Thank you to everyone who supported our Easter activities, especially Tain Library for their egg-ceptional support through their Bookbug programme.”
