A DIVERSE array of lots ranging from a night in a shepherd's hut to dinner at a local restaurant, a homemade quilt and a boiler service are up for grabs in a Wester Ross community this weekend.
Shieldaig Community Association is staging the event this Saturday to raise funds for new playpark equipment.
The playpark fundraiser at the village hall will run from 10am to 2pm and has already been well supported with donations for a silent auction and a cake stall.
Anyone interested in placing a bid for any of the lots on offer can do so in advance. The group has a presence on Facebook.
Lots include dinner at Stovalds and the Coastal Kitchen, a night in a shepherd's hut, a boiler service, a homemade quilt, an osteopath session and ice cream.
Other lots added include 2kg of freshly landed Loch Torridon prawns and return train tickets for a family of four within Scotland.
An old fundraising favourite is also included in the shape of a “Guess the Number of Sweets” competition thanks to the donation of a large tub of jelly beans which is in the local shop. The winner, to the nearest jelly bean, will be announced on Saturday.
