A HIGHLAND coach operator's support for the annual Eden Court pantomime has been heralded as 'invaluable'.

D&E Coaches will be the main sponsor of the Cinderella panto this festive season.

The company is the largest private hire coach operator in the Highlands, and celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

It also sponsored the 2019/20 panto Beauty and the Beast, the most recent at Eden Court due to the pandemic.

D&E founder Donald Mathieson said: “It’s great for families and the city to have the theatre up and running again and the panto back in business.

“It’s been a challenging time for many so the prospect of a laugh and a spectacle at the panto is something thousands will look forward to in a great family occasion.”

The theatre’s fundraising manager Aelish O’Rourke said: “It’s terrific news that D&E are returning as our main sponsor after our last successful partnership.

“It’s good to have a high-profile, well-regarded Highland company offer this invaluable support.

“The public response to the panto’s comeback has been heart-warming and we’re pulling out all the stops to make it a magical time for all ages.”

Cinderella, directed by Steven Wren, will run from December 10 to January 8 at Eden Court in Inverness.
