The latest report on Highland road conditions issued by Highland Council warned motorists of low temperatures and wet roads in Ross-shire.

According to the report, all priority 1 and 2 roads are being treated with 10g.

This comes after a yellow warning in the region expired at 9am this morning, warning for possible icy patches on the roads.

Light snow cover over higher parts are reported in Sutherland, with all primary routes currently being treated as necessary and no known issues.
