Highland Council v Ross County.
Highland Council v Ross County.

Dingwall’s troubled relationship with Highland Council continues after the local authority started posting Aberdeen FC content on its official Facebook page just four days before the Staggies make the trip to Pittodrie.

Highland Council denied the posts were intentional and instead were put online in error by a member of staff testing systems a short time ago and that they were immediately deleted – making clear the local authority was not hacked.

Ross-shire’s county town does not enjoy being considered the poor cousin of Inverness when it comes to investment, time and care so we can well imagine County fans' concern that there is a Don’s fan lurking behind a computer pumping out Aberdeen FC propaganda at council HQ in Inverness.

All the more so because in the footballing stakes Dingwall reigns supreme in the north.

County is currently sixth in the premiership after a strong start to the season – losing only to the Old Firm. It would be less than kind to mention Caley Thistle’s current position.
