Easter Ross is by far the worst affected area at the start of industrial action by waste, street cleaning and recycling staff while there will also be no street cleaning in Inverness.

Earlier the local authority advised households and businesses to continue to put their bins out because the situation was unpredictable and therefore it was still possible some collections would be made.
