Motorists have been advised by Highland Council of a temporary road closure affecting the A834 Strathpeffer Road.

The closure will be situated at its junction with the U3110 medical centre access road and extending eastwards for a distance of 180m or thereby.

The road will be closed to all vehicles except emergency services to allow Scottish Water to carry out sewer works. Works have been planned to take place from 9am on Monday, January 31 until 5pm on Friday, February 18.

An alternative route for vehicles will be available via the A835 Trunk Contin to Maryburgh road and the A862 Maryburgh to Dingwall road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
