Highland charities will be selling Christmas cards in Inverness.

Four Highland charities have joined forces to make their cards available for purchase in the Eastgate Shopping Centre.

Highland Hospice, Marie Curie, CHAS and Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland have each launched their own range of cards under the umbrella name of United Highland Charities.

They will be on sale in the Eastgate Shopping Centre from Monday, November 7 until Thursday, November 17, from 10am to 4pm.

Highland Hospice fundraiser Katie Gibb said: “Christmas cards are such a lovely way of showing you care, perhaps for someone who you haven’t seen as much of as you would have liked.

“Very often people don’t show that they are struggling and it’s not always the most obvious people who are in need of a helping hand or kind gesture. A Christmas card with a few kind words could really help to brighten someone’s day.”

The cards on offer from the charities include stunning images of Highland scenery, traditional designs, beautiful images of animals and some more quirky modern designs.

Katie added: “It is so kind of Jackie Cuddy and the Eastgate Shopping Centre to allow all four charities to come together and sell our cards there this year.

"Each of these charities helps many people through difficult times, so why not put the sparkle into someone’s Christmas and support a deserving cause at the same time?”
