A popular café in the Highland capital has taken the decision to close due to a member of staff self-isolating due to Covid.

Owners of Café Artysans, on Strothers Lane near the bus station, said it would reopen on July 19.

The social enterprise cafe is part of the Calman Trust group that works with young people to improve their skills in the world of work.

A post on Facebook read: "To keep our customers and staff safe, Café Artysans will be closed this week as a member of the team is self-isolating.

"We will be back on Monday 19th July. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."
