Traffic Scotland has issued high winds warnings to motorists crossing two A9 bridges in Ross-shire.
Occasional gusts of high winds are predicted on the Kessock Bridge and the Cromarty Bridge.
There was also a warning for winds on the Dornoch Bridge which, the agency said, could pose a problem to high-sided vehicles.
The post came as the Met Office issued weather warnings for the Highlands with special concern for heavy rain.
Some localised flooding is expected across the region.
The Met Office yellow warning is at a lower end of the scale.
It notes that heavy rain may bring some flooding and transport disruption and that homes and businesses could be subject to flooding.
