What a lot they got! Tarra Gals Ross-shire and Sutherland SWI Federation newcomers grab a gong for strong showing

Ross-shire and Sutherland SWI Federation's summer meeting was an upbeat affair welcoming representatives from each group within the area.

Inverness, Kiltarilty and Kyleakin were also welcomed to their first Ross-shire and Sutherland Federation SWI meeting since affiliating.

Ann McGhee, Federation chairman, presided over the meeting at which various topics were discussed and future plans made.

The Mary Machin Trophy, awarded annually to the group or institute with most new members, went to Tarra Gals SWI, newly formed in Muir of Ord. A total of 21 new members joined – regarded as a great result.
