A warm welcome on a cold wet night was given to all at the Legion Club by compere Ian Simpson.

We are encouraged by the numbers attending the musical evenings and thank them for their continued support.

A special welcome was extended to our guests, Matthew Maclennan and his band. Matthew (accordion) was joined on stage by Julia Dignam (fiddle). Both Matthew and Julia are Edinburgh based. From Glasgow, we welcomed Martainn Skene (keyboard) and Neil MacGregor (drums) hails from Thurso. We were treated to a varied selection of well played music in both first and second half spots, keeping toes tapping!

Accordionist Ivan Russell from Forres was joined on stage by his young granddaughter, Lexi playing her fiddle. Also playing fiddle was Marsailli Henderson and along with.Ranald McConnachie on keyboard, they made a super sound. Please come and visit us again!

We are always delighted to welcome our local players. On accordions were Nicol MacKay, Graham Wood, Monica Maclean, Frankie Fraser and Cammie Maclean. Jacqui MacDonald and Christine Matheson played keyboard and drummers were Maggie Jamieson, Mike Chisholm and Martin Maclean.

This was another excellent evening of first class music. Our next Club night is on 6th December when we look forward to seeing you all again.
