The new Harry Gow bakery shop is due to open in the former tourist information centre just off the A9 at North Kessock on Wednesday.

And to mark the opening the Inverness firm says the first 1000 customers can look forward to a free dream ring.

The bakery had been due to open last year before a blaze in the early hours of July 3 gutted the building and put a stop to renovation work.

Investigations later revealed the blaze had been started deliberately. No culprit has ever been found. The company began to rebuild earlier this year and construction has progressed rapidly.

Opening hours for the new shop will be 6.30am-6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays and 7.30am-4pm on Saturdays.
